Tax Credit.

Small businesses with a revenue of one million dollars or less OR businesses with 30 or fewer employees are eligible for the ADA Disabled Access tax credit for taking measures to make their website accessible.

Reach customers of all abilities.

As the importance of website accessibility continues to rise, ADA compliance has become essential. Treating websites as public places of accommodation, all people must have equal access to information and services - including those with disabilities. Failure to comply with accessibility regulations can result in legal repercussions that are both costly and time-consuming.

Here’s how to claim the Disabled Access Tax Credit:

1.

Use IRS form 8826 to claim the Disabled Access Credit, Internal Revenue Code Title 26, Section 44.

2.

The Disabled Access Credit allows small businesses to claim website accessibility expenditures over $250 and up to $10,250 and reduce the amount of taxes owed.

3.

Using The Disabled Access Credit allows businesses to claim 50% of accessibility expenses as a tax credit.
